I would find valuable information from different websites such as FreeErisa.com, Judy Diamond, etc. You can find out things like who the current agent is, how much commission is paid, who the insurance carriers are and what lines of coverage they buy. It used to blow me away to find some brokers were getting paid $200,000 or more from one account.
